About Quereba BnB

Quereba BnB, where every stay is a delightful blend of warmth and elegance. Our story began in 2010 when we undertook a major renovation of our beloved three-bedroom house. We expanded our space with a new main bedroom, a spacious separate bathroom, an inviting outdoor kitchen, and a convenient drive-through garage. With our two older children away at boarding school and our youngest soon to follow, the house felt wonderfully expansive but also somewhat empty.

As we enjoyed our newly transformed home, a realization dawned on us: with our children growing up and potentially not returning, we might soon be left with a grand house that felt too big for just the two of us. Little did we know, this turning point was not merely a challenge but a divine opportunity. Guided by providence, we saw a new path unfold before us.

In 2012, we embarked on an exciting journey to convert our home into a guest house. My wife, inspired by our three wonderful children—Queen, Reitumetse, and Aobakwe—baptized our new venture with the name Quereba Bed and Breakfast. It was a tribute to our family and a symbol of the new chapter we were about to embrace.

By early 2013, Quereba BnB opened its doors, welcoming travelers with the same warmth and comfort we extend to family. The response was overwhelming; our guests fell in love with the charm and hospitality we offer, often returning for another memorable stay. Over the years, we’ve built a vibrant and growing family of guests, each with their own unique story.

Today, Quereba BnB is more than just a guest house; it’s a cherished part of the Makhoba family’s story. It stands as a testament to how unexpected changes can lead to beautiful new beginnings, and we are grateful for the role it plays in supporting and nurturing our family.
